I applied for Nebius credits following an older workflow from a linux.do post, and my Token Factory account ended up showing $60.00. As of August 11, 2026, the official website has changed this to $25 for Token Factory plus $25 for Tavily.
Both figures are genuine—they just reflect different points in time and different scopes. The $60 is my actual credited amount, while the $25 + $25 currently on the official site is the benchmark new applicants should refer to today.
The Current Rules First
As of August 11, 2026, the benefits listed on the official Nebius Builder Program website include
- $25 Nebius Token Factory credit
- $25 Tavily credit
- $1 Nebius Academy certification offer
- Office hours and Builder community access
The official site designates this promotion as an early preview and explicitly notes that benefits, eligibility, and availability may continue to change.
This means older tutorials can still help you understand the application and redemption process, but they cannot be taken as a guarantee of what you will actually receive. Once you open the page, always go by whatever rules the official website displays that day.
The Old Workflow I Followed
The six workflow screenshots below come from the original post by linux.do user zhangshiwu, while the balance screenshot is from my own account. Older campaign codes, promo codes, names, and account identifiers have been redacted.
Step 1: Fill Out the Builder Program Form
Head to the Builder Program, scroll down to the application form, and fill in your name, email, and the project you plan to try out.
After submitting, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the Builder Program. Recent emails explicitly state $25 in Token Factory and $25 in Tavily.
Step 2: Claim via the Email Link
The older workflow redirected to a Nebius promo codes page to enter your name and email once again. That campaign code is now obsolete; the screenshot is only meant to show what the page looks like.
After submitting, you will receive a one-time promo code by email. Don’t forward your code, and don’t include it in public screenshots.
Step 3: Sign Up for Token Factory
Open Nebius Token Factory to register an account. The older workflow typically involved two requirements:
- Sign in using Gmail or GitHub
- Link a bank card and complete a $0 verification
A $0 verification is typically just the issuing bank and platform confirming the card is valid; it doesn’t mean you will never be billed later. Even after claiming your credits, keep a close eye on your balance, pricing, and billing settings—don’t simply ignore it because it’s labeled free.
Step 4: Enter the Promo Code
Once inside Token Factory, click your avatar in the top right corner and select Top up. The tenant, organization, and balance details in the screenshot have been redacted.
Select With promo code, then enter the code from the email.
Is It Still Worth Applying?
If you just want to try an OpenAI-compatible API, the current $25 Token Factory credit is enough to run plenty of small tasks. Create an API key first, run a few text requests, check the models, speed, and balance deductions, and then decide whether to stick with it.
Don’t register in bulk, don’t buy or sell promo codes, and don’t try to bypass card linking or account restrictions. The platform’s current models, pricing, and promotional terms may all be adjusted.
What I can confirm is that my account indeed shows $60.00. As for what new applicants will receive, please refer to whatever the official Builder Program website and emails specify at that time.
FAQ
How much do you get if you apply now?
As of August 11, 2026, the perks listed on the official site include a $25 Nebius Token Factory credit, a $25 Tavily credit, a $1 Nebius Academy certification offer, plus office hours and Builder community access. The official site designates the promotion as an early preview, meaning perks, eligibility, and availability can change at any time. The $60 credited to my account was simply the record from this particular application and doesn’t guarantee you can still get the same amount now.
Do you need to link a card?
Yes. Registering for Token Factory requires linking a bank card and completing a $0 verification. This is usually just the card issuer and platform verifying that the card is valid, not a guarantee that you’ll never be billed later. After claiming your credits, you should still watch your balance, pricing, and billing settings—don’t ignore them completely just because it says free.
Can you still follow the older tutorial?
It works for understanding the general application and redemption workflow, but it can’t be taken as a guarantee of how much credit you’ll actually receive now. The campaign codes in the older workflow are expired, and both pages and perks keep changing. For every step, it’s best to check whatever rules the official website displays that day before deciding whether to follow along.
How are the Tavily credits split?
The official benefits list separates Token Factory and Tavily into two independent $25 credits rather than a single quota split between them. This time, I only went down the Token Factory track; I didn’t explore how the $25 for Tavily is redeemed and used, so if you need that, I recommend checking directly on the official site.
